Wirtz – Gas Lead Furnaces – GF / GFR / GN Series

All of Wirtz Manufacturing’s furnaces are constructed of heavy-duty steel designed for minimal deformation, and include insulation around the entire furnace to achieve a stable and consistent temperature within the lead pot for one side to the other.

The Wirtz GF, GFR & GN series of lead pots are constructed with gas fired burners and temperature control systems. The GF, GFR & GN series lead pots are available in a number of different capacities.

GF Series: Round construction pots with atmospheric burner

GFR Series: Rectangular construction, gas fired type burner, safety gas control system, automatic temperature controls.

Models:

• GFR-5000(Pot 14″ x D x 28″ W x 36″ L)

GN Series: Rectangular construction, medium velocity nozzle mixing type gas burner, safety gas control system, and automatic temperature controls.

Models:

• GN-7500 DOUBLE– Two separate 7500 lead pots with individual controls in a single frame. Designed for a single machine running 2 alloys. Rectangular construction Pot size 18″ D x 18″ W x 66″ L. Frame size 4′ W x 15’4″ L Gas fired utilizing 2 medium velocity nozzle mixing type burner – 1 for each lead pot. Includes a single gas control stand with 2 separate temperature controllers, and high limit controllers. The furnace operates with 1 burner at operating temperature and 1 burner at idle on pilot. Heat up time to 900°F is about 2 hours. Hi limit (2 separate controls REQUIRED ON THIS FURNACE)
• GN-8000Rectangular construction (Pot 14″ D x 18″ W x 96″L) Gas fired, utilizing medium velocity nozzle mixing type burner. Includes safety gas control system & automatic temperature control. Consult factory for electrics specifications. Hi limit temperature control
• GNS-10,000(Pot 20″ D x 24″ W x 60″L) Gas fired furnace, rectangular construction with medium velocity nozzle mixing gas burner, safety gas control system, and automatic temperature control. Consult factory for electrics specifications.
• GN-10,000(Pot 12″ D x 17″ W x 144″L) Gas fired furnace, rectangular construction with 2 medium velocity nozzle mixing gas burners, safety gas control system, automatic temperature control. Consult factory for electrics specifications.
• GN-16,000(Pot 20″ D x 28″ W x 84″L) Gas fired furnace, rectangular construction with 2 medium velocity nozzle mixing gas burners, safety gas control system, automatic temperature control.
